To get a jio sim you just need a 4g Smart phone. From September 5 the service will began for all. However there is no official words about Iphone , Moto g3 , Mi.
For free services till December 31 2016. You need a code that is generated by a phone.
How to generate code ?
1. You need to download my jio app of previous version. New version did not provide code to many. So i recommend you to download older version of my jio app.
2. After you must have to download all the other app in the tray.
3. Turn internet and wifi off and reboot you phone and then open my jio app.
4. You may be able to see GET A JIO SIM option click on that and fill the necessary details.
For those who did not able to generate code my this . I have other option see in last of this blog.
5. Go to nearest Digital xpress and digital mini store submit your document and avail the sim.
6. It take a lot of time to activate the sim about 10-20 days. ( I got a sim on 3 sep. and today just got a sms of Order no. )
Lot of people face problem to generate code in many phones like mi redmi note 3.
There is a trick for this.
Requirements
1. Rooted phone
2. Xposed Installed
3. Device id Changer
In the app Devive id changer. Have many Id . like imei no. Android id.and others.
You just need to know the imei no of any Samsung mobile phone.
Check it by *#06#
Then change you Imei no. similar to samsung mobile phone. Change last two digit.
Install myjio app again the older one. And you surely get the option.
I used my friends Jio sim in my phone. It did not work. show no service or Emergency calls.
